Can you make fruit salad using frozen fruits after they have thawed?

Do the fruits get mushy or anything and do they hold up? I've made salad before, just never using frozen fruits. Please share.

i buy frozen mixed bag of fruits, which i suppose is an already frozen bag of fruit salad, it takes a long time to defrost but i think it tastes just as lovely as fresh fruit, and it doesn't go mushy

One fruit which responds really well to freezing is grapes which you can actually eat frozen or semi defrosted, but make sure they are firm not mushy when you freeze them, grapes are then delicious added to a salad and also go well with fish, course you can always just eat the frozen grapes like a sweet.
