why Rose called as the most beautiful flower ?

Rose is known for its beauty and for its aroma as well. Many mythology like Isis or Aphrodite related to Rose, even emperor Shahjahan, the famed Mughal ruler of India was symbolized with red rose. But I think Orchids more beautiful then Rose, how about you ?

I think it might be because the rose has lots of layers that almost surround each other but they don't overlap too much and you can still see the middle, it's like the petals are telling you it's a mystery, but it still lets you see (ok maybe I'm waffling, but I know what I mean LOL), I think Roses are very pretty, but I don't really like Orchids, just goes to show beauty really is in the eye of the beholder :-)

I don't know why roses are considered the most beautiful flowers. My favorite flower would be the lotus. Its very beautiful to look at and makes me feel calm. It also has a lovely scent. I like orchids as well, even though their not my favorite flowers.
