People feel God is perfect because

People are hungering for perfection. But unfprtunately, people cannot see this perfection anywehre. Least of all, people would not see perfection in themselves because many consider themselves as sinners. Some even believe that they are born in original sin.
So, it is very easy to consider that God is perfect. After all, God is a creature whom we have not seen, heard etc.. We do not know anything about this fellow. So, solve the problem of perfection by saying this guy is perfect.

Have you ever seen the wind? How do we know you have a brain? No one has ever seen either the wind or your brain, so how do we know they exist?
I ask this to make people think. There are things that we can't see, but we know they exist because of the visible effects that they have on the environment around us. And as far as not knowing God, there are many resources you can read up on to find out more about Him. Read St.Thomas Aquinas, St. Louis de Montfort, the early Church fathers. Read and study Scripture--objectively, at least. You'll find some things to ponder, I guarantee you.

You say that there are things that we can't see, but we know they exist. We know the wind exists because it can be felt, we know about the brain which can be seen if you take off the scull cap. Some of us have very shallow brains who depends on others to think for themselves. On a different post you also said that the Pope is guided by the Holy Ghost on spiritual matters, this, you declared to be true. My question to you is simple, if you can't see the Holy Ghost when He is advising the Pope, how can you declare it is true? Who told you to say that? I am trying to think and need your help.

We all make judgement calls based on our current knowledge and information. Sometimes a larger view of things or a bit more information changes the picture. This world, God's lessons, the dynamics of all the interactions in this world along with all the science, technology, and possibilities makes the truth overwhelming.I can't say for sure everything is perfect but each new discovery shows me that it has all been created by one much smarter than I. I think, I'll hold off on my final decision until I can see the entire picture. Until then, I'll watch, learn and grow. My next great discovery might be just around the corner.
