I was channel surfing this morning and came across a show devoted to the Loch Ness Monster. I was wondering what you guys think-is Nessie real? Was it ever real? Do you think that there are other creatures like this that have yet to be uncovered? Or is it all one big hoax?

I have always thought that this must be a hoax. But I have a friend that believes there really is something there in the Loch. He says it is evidence that God has a sense of humor.

Well I definatly think that there are creatures in the sea we don't know about. The sea is one of the least explored places on earth. We can only dive so deep, who knows what lives beyound the depth we have discovered. As for nessie, I think at one time it could have been real maybee it still is real. The jury is still out for me.

I saw a similar documentary on Nessie a long time ago. It said that many pictures and descriptions of "Nessie" resembled an aquatic dinosaur (I forget the actual name). I think this could definitely be possible, as there have been many scientific discoveries over the past decade. Quite a few creatures we all thought were extinct are actually very much alive (the giant quid, the coelacanth). Even if there isn't a Nessie, the legend has brought a lot of visitors to the loch, and the area has seen a lot of profit in the tourism industry.

Hi countrygirl8808, I think it can be if nessie is real. Maybe they hide and live in many places that we can not reach it. Someday when we can explore all site in the earth we can ensure they are existing or not.
