Ok i want everyones opinion on black holes. If you get pulled into one what would happen? would you die, or just get spat out in some random time zone? Finally what about white holes, do they really spit out everything that gets sucked into a black hole? Nobody really knows so have an imagination.

my advice is that u r not supposed to be too much imaginative which will lead u to imagine stuff like white holes....well i dont belive that black holes suck us and spat us out in adifferent time zone......the suckig of us y black hole is the end of us....any object sucked in it will have no life cus it is a high energy body acting on us....

Actually there is a white hole theory. It is of course the opposite of black hole. It actually ejects matter into space. but this is still theory and not proven, some actually say it will exists only for a brief moment. Also another theory about black hole and white hole. Imagine a black hole is forming and at its core a big bang effect (big bang is a theory how the universe came to be). The matter that is sucked by the black hole is ejected to a new universe through a white hole on side of the new universe. I think some physicist named Lee Smolin came out with this.

Gravity forces are so great around such objects that you could not survive. Crushed by your own weight! Since man hasn't found a way to neutralize gravity, I 'd stay clear of them.

Hi, I heard on "Coast to Coast" radio one night that if we were sucked into a black hole, we would explode into a trillion little bits because of the force. I have never heard of a white hole though.

If you want to know more about black holes, you should read A brief history of time by Stephen Hawkings. I hope i got the title right. I read it years ago. Anyway, as i recall, from his explanations. When you are sucked into a black hole (assuming you have a special suit that protects you from space and gravity), you will experience slowed time and eventually when you're almost to the event horizon, you'll feel you're stuck (time stop) for infinity. Time gets slower and slower as you get closer to the event horizon. Event Horizon is an area in the black hole where we cannot see anything. But! if you're an observer, and decided to throw an annoying friend who kept asking about black holes to one, then you'll see him quickly being sucked into the hole and stays near the event horizon but never reaching there. Of course if you read a lot of science fictions about worm holes and such then there would be a whole range of theories.

I think that if you got sucked into a black hole that you would die. A black hole is black because it sucks everything into it. So not even light can escape it. That is a lot of force. I read somewhere that they dont really think that white holes spit out everything from a black hole but if I was ever an astronaut, that would be something to try. Of course you have to stay far enough away from the black hole so you dont end up getting sucked into it instead of your science experiment. :)
