Found this programme on You Tube but haven't been able to see the US versions which we were hoping to find next. Has anyone managed to see both? Any ideas where we could find the Biggest Loser US to watch, my son wants to see it as likes Gillian and Bob better than the Australian trainers except for the Commando of course. Does he also appear in the US version?

Biggest Loser is an awesome show, and here in the US they just recently released Biggest Loser for the WII game system, and my husband and I would Love to get this as well. But where else can you watch some people do all kinds of things they never thought possible and still be able to loose a lot of extra weight as well? I am sure no matter where you are this show has been an enjoyment for all.

Hi krausHome, well we've still not managed to see any of the American version but reports are that the Aussie one is much better. The commando AKA georgous Steve Willis is featuring more each year but it looks like we'll be waiting unti Feb for it to return to youtube, if anyone is kind enough to post it. On the Australian one they discovered that one of the male contestants had a big heart problem so wasn't allowed to particiapte in the execise programme so he was just sent of walking around the grounds a couple of times a day, and he lost as much weight with a healthy diet and walking as the rest of them, which just shows that fancy gyms and all that aren't needed. I also found it excellent to reinforce to my son that there is never a need for fizzy drinks etc as he saw for himself that a fanta had more empty calories in it than a meal. With the increase of overweight children even here where the healthy diet is famed it is good to have outside reinforcement of what is basically common sense.
