Will hp6 movie be as good as the book??

The movie harry potter and the half blood prince is scheduled for world wide release in july...will it be as interesting as the book was??hope it is... The previous five movies were all good but they were not as good as the books..in all the movies there were many differences from the books..in some cases characters were left out of the movies...these were maybe needed to reduce the length of the movies but they took the sheen of the movies as they did not cover the entire book... Some things in the book may be considered irrelevant in the movie scenario from the books..but those things that were left out in the movies may be the ones that were the most interestng in the books... Also according to me the movies were gradually losing there quality as they progressed...the first movie was the best in my opinion and the 5th the worst... All said and done it is always very difficult to make a movie out of a book...that too to make a movie out of a book as popular as harry potter is very very tough... so will the half blood prince movie atleast contain the major portions of the book???only time will tell... share your thougths and views on this...

I'm a big fan of Harry Potter series. I do respect your point of view regarding the quality or the way each series is filmed. However each film for me did make me appreciate it more. I understand that there were some characters who were not given the chance to be portrayed in the film the way some of them were. One of the reasons for this of course is maybe to maintain it's prescribed length and avoid boredom from the viewers who don't enjoy much lengthy films. I am positive that this coming series, The Half Blood Prince, will still win the hearts of the viewers.

I'm a big big HP fan too.But when i saw the movie ,it was like a ugly shadow of the book.I'm sorry to say so. I felt very angry and sad when i saw the movie .It was very different from what i imagined.So' i didn't even saw the last two movies .What ever .just hope that half blood prince is better

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be almost the same as the book. The producers said son in an interview. I do hope it is. I really loved the books.

I didn't like the last movie, either. One good thing about it is Snape will have more of a role in this movie, and hopefully show him as a child/teenager. Crossing my fingers, anyway, lol! Snape is my favorite character from the book.

I agree that only time will tell but I believe the 6th book has a lot of potential as a movie, there are a lot of scenes that would look great on film, I just hope they are able to include them.

I have enjoyed all the movies so far and I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. The problem that I see with the movies is the same thing that others have already said about leaving out characters and some of the conversations, etc. but the main thing that I am disappointed in is the fact that when the director changed the style of the movies changed. The first two movies (like the books) were not so dark but from the 3rd movie on, everything was different. The kids hardly wore their school uniforms, the filming was dark and not as pleasant to watch. So much of the dialogue was different than the books as well, but they do that with all movies based on novels. They did the same thing with the Lord of the Rings movies and will probably do it when the finish making The Hobbit. It all depends on what the director wants to show and how.

Each film, has been EDITED.. All the book is awesome, and editing removes the best parts.. They are just showing the MAIN STORY, Not the dialouges which are funny.. Missing out things.. Overall, They can't do anything, They tryin' their best you know.. Whatever the quality is... I hope they COULD actually make a movie EXACTLY as the books.. But no, They can't. I'm happy with the books and movies, more happy with the books, they are the real story...

It wont be as good because movies portray another persons imagination as they have read the book. You would prefer to see your thoughts portrayed instead therefore making it worse.
