I really had hoped that Obama was not just another power hungry politician who talked a good game and then folded when confronted by the big boys who really hold the power in this country. Do you think that the President is just a puppet, along with those who came before him and that our government is run by people we never elected who worked their way into positions of ultimate power and who really call the shots for this country? Do you think that things would have been any different under Kerry and Palin or do you think that no matter who holds the seats that the American eye is misdirected to, the same people continue to run our government and that they have for years?

I wonder why we put our hopes in one person when we all make a difference. It is our own individual values that make a difference. It is the everyday lives that we live that sets the pattern for our country. When we deal honestly in business whether that be an employer or an employee. When we work hard at relationships and building families and children for the future. When we care for the poor and those who cannot take care of themselves. When we do our very best everyday to make a difference, that is when good changes come. President Obama has been handed a lot of responsibility. It is easy to be the armchair critic until you are handed the job. I believe he had good intentions and still does. We can only view a president's decisions by what we know. We are not fully briefed on a situation like a president is. I do believe that our vote counts. No matter who I voted for, I try to pray for the people that run our country and do my best to live an honest life. I don't know if that answers the question, but no matter what I do know that we live in a country that is one of the best in the world and we continue to strive to make it better.

That is correct, politician here like power and most of them are self-centered. It is just part of America's tradition for hundred of years. Absolute power will corrupt any man absolutely, whoever hold that office or in control of the government will not make much differences .
