Is there any way you can ruin a chicken besides over cooking?

I cannot think of a way to ruin a chicken. You swipe its cute little fanny with some oil and herbs and stick some lemon or whatever under the skin, stick an onion, orange and maybe a apple in its tum and stick it in the oven over some new potatoes and whatever else, oh, don't forget alittle wine. Cook until it smells so good you simply can't stand it anymore[about and hour]and serve to that lucky bunch that are eating at your house tonight. YUM!

You can ruin it by letting it have all its own way, buying it the latest games console, latest trainers, never making it share its toys or go to bed on time, doing its homework for it and taking it on fancy holidays that you can't really afford... it'll be spoilt rotten !! (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

i never ruined one till i moved here and one night sons gf asked me if i could make the chicken and noodles. she came along while it was cooking and said she always puts in some bouilon. i didnt realise it was so freakin salty. she poured it in and made it to salty to eat. i explained to son about that but tried not to make a big deal of it as i didnt want another argument with her. 61yrs old before a chicken i made was ruined. but not by me

Other people need to just but out when one person is cooking. Ya, boullion is salty. You used to be able to get little packets of it and low sodium. I don't see them anymore.

Hey celtic! Are you trying to kill me? I am starving! I haven't had anything to eat all day and I am dying for some chicken! That is one of my very favorite meals! My boyfriend got us pizza from this place where the pizza is awful and I have to eat it anyway since it is already here! The place where we usually get it from was closed so he went to this other place and the pizza tastes like cardboard with no other flavor so I would love some chicken instead! Thanks for torturing me!

Oh, your welcome! It was too late for me to even order pizza and I was hungry. So that is why I brought up the chicken. YUM!

Your right..there are very few ways to ruin chicken. The worst chicken I have ever had was just a little dry. As for side items..there is very little to worry with that because it goes well with most everything too. Take care.

I think so. I love the flavor of both chicken and fish and you can add so much to them to make a great dish.
