My husband doesn't work on Saturdays, so when a holiday falls on the weekend he will get the day before off as a holiday. He is home today and doing some work on the floor and planning to cook tonight. What would you do with a 3-day holiday week-end?

Well we don't work right now, lol, so we have every day off, except we do make money here. In any case, to answer your question, I'd probably just stay at home with my fiance and read a book, play games, or watch t.v. It's been awhile since I've had a 3-day weekend I might go out to eat with him and some friends / his parents / my mom. Lol. Or we may just cook out if it's a holiday! We're cooking out (his parents are doing the cooking) for tomorrow.

Sounds like you could come up with a good plan for a 3-day weekend. My hubby is cooking out tonight and we'll have leftovers tomorrow.

Well we've got experience being lazy! I'm ready to get back into the working field, but ask me what I'd like to do on a three day weekend when I'm working? I'd probably say sleep! lol! I've worked before so I know! lol! Oh and Leftovers are always yummy! Where I live, I'm the one who likes them the best I think, well with a close second to father in law!

Hubby did sleep in this morning. It's so nice when he doesn't have to set the alarm, just snooze until you naturally wake up. Very refreshing!

Well, I had about four days off last month, and I took the opportunity to fix up the house a little. I did some sewing, stained our wooden media cabinet a nice oak color, and started organizing all of my clutter. The last day, I just took it easy and enjoyed my handiwork.

How very industrious you are. I'm glad you had a day of rest in there. A little rest is good for the body and soul.
