I would suggest on workstation type with Xeon Processor. I loved my Hp workstation performance. I have upgrade with 4G RAM, Nvidia 1GRam and change to scsi harddisk. All of application and games software running very very fast and stable.

You are talking about XENON Processors and I told u in Discussion that I need just multitasking.but forgot to tell u my budget limit 9000(Motherboard- processor).$1=47 INRupees. ACtually Xenon processors are for workstation and servers.

Wow... Sorry, It is only in USD 191. Did you like a branded PC or just build your own? In my country, You will dual core/celeron processor, 512 Mb, and onboard motherboard with this budget. I have bad experience on build my own PC. Mostly, warranty claim and service support. If i would suggest you just invest on best motherboard with wide range configuration, like Asus or Intel. Then choose entry level processor like Celeron (not on Atom). Later on, you will increased performance with very good processor and ram.

about processor you must consider some features as the power of the clock so the frequency about microprocessor, the cahche level and how much i is normally in mb and even how much cores they have!! So if you nedd a strong multi tasking i will suggest a processor with more cores..so core 2 have two cores and it is good but the new one core 2 xtreme have 4 cores or even core duo 2 so these will eb suitable because normally more cores have your processor and so much faster would be the acess to diffeent application and leaboration of dates...even have a good level of cache something like 6 mb it would be better to improve it..the frequency it depends i think 2 mhz will be ok but even 1.8 will be improved and cheaper..
