Was MJ a muslim? Had he really converted to Islam?

I'm just curious and please, I'm not being prejudice or whatsoever. I'm just really really curious, did Michael Jackson really had converted to Islam??
I watch some video and news on youtube which claimed that he converted to Islam some time in last year. Anybody knows??

Thank you peercc.. there are so many different version of the story on the internet. One day I saw on the news regarding him converting to Islam, even the declaration that was signed by him. Then the next, one guy (don't know who) denied it.
Whatever it is, I hope he get a decent burial according to Islam if he really converted.

Yah! Double confirmation! He was a Muslim before he passed away.. And.. He also wrote a song dedicated to Islam called ``Give Thanks To Allah``. It is a really nice song and you should listen to it.. Just YouTube it.

i just did and it is nice. thanks to youtube, i found a lot of video about hollywood stars who are muslim. never thought about that.

i think MJ will convert to islam as well but i dont know if in the while he changed his idea or not!!You know MJ were a reall strange and contracditory character in mucis so may be it had a perod like that but after cna changes his faith too..so i think normally he should always personalized his life and so giving a touch different in every things so i guess in faith too...

my opinion, whatever it is, we should respect people's choice and faith. all religion teach goodness.
