Hi everyone, I am so happy today. My hubs has a day off on today. And he went to the wet market early in the morning. He just suddenly come out the idea to be the cook for today. He is so nice, prepared a nice breakfast and lunch for the family. although the variety of food is not that much, but we had a great time and enjoyed his food very much. I appreciated what he had done for us today. He even asked me to rest and do the cleaning for the kitchen and washed all the dishes. So do share with me do your hubs cook and what is his favorite cooking recipe?

My partner before is working abroad while im workng locally. So when he gets home from abroad, theres are times that i dont get vacation leave in order to spend time with him. Since im working night shift, he is the one doing all the household chores while im resting at daytime. He cooks for me, making sure i get to eat before going to work. Even during my restday, he still cook or serves me..and he enver minds doing it, he said, he loves taking care of me since he cant do that when he is away to work.

I get you! So when your partner comes back from abroad, you both just will have more time getting together. He is a responsible guy, he cooks good food for you. He even ensures that you are full before going to work, how thoughtful is he...

Hi vingyan, that was so sweet. Yea my husband cooks for me too. Before heading to my work, he always like to make coffee and sandwich for me. During his day off, he will call me to go home at lunch because he will cook. He is nice , sweet and loving. I do appreciate his good works. Its usually the wife who cooks a lot, cleans a lot and do the household chores. Its not that bad when husband shares the same job too, its a sweet thing for me. Happy mylotting and smile always.

My bf cooks for me all the time. He makes Italian dishes that are out of this world. The only problem I have is withall of th ecalories! It all jus tastes so good you just cannot help yourself. I try to cook healthier meals sometimes but if he doesn't like it he will cook himself something else.

I can't really comment in detail on the subject because i am not married, however, i have had ex's / my current cook for me, as i have cooked for them. Normally we do it together though, providing we're both at home at the current time.

Hello vingyan06,yes my b/f is a great cook. I think he is a better cook than I am.I taught him some thing and he picked it up quickly and made it better. He is not so much on cleaning but I'm still working with him on how to make it easier on doing the cleaning. When he cooks I do the clean up work. I love his steak fajitas.

Wow, I've now heard of everything...a man that cooks and cleans. Haha, I'm just kidding!! You are very lucky to have husband who is willing to do those things for you. Many women, much like myself, fall in love with lazy slobs. We just have to accept them for who they are lol! I love my husband very much and while he doesn't cook or clean for me, he does work to allow me to raise our daughter in our home. I would consider that an even trade! Enjoy your rest time and be sure to thank your husband for being who he is!

My husband knows how to cook more than I do and once in awhile he helps out when his mom cooks. I hardly cook where I am living right now because this is not my house for one and I am not that good so I do not want to cook for them if I have no expertise on cooking. But yes he does cook and bake as well so when we have our own place he will surely cook the first night and I will do the rest.

Nice to hear your hubby cooks for you at times. Sometimes even if a husband or wife who doesn't know how to cook but maybe try something simple such as making a sandwich is also taken as a gesture of love and affection. Its the thought and care that matters. Does not have to elaborate dishes like Roast Lamb but just an egg sandwich if he or she doesn't like or know how to cook. This is important to keep the flame of love burning.

Mine does sometimes, and it is nice when he does. :o) I do most of the cooking though, but there are times when I bet he wishes he did. lol Like when I try a new creation. ha ha and we end up at Subway for our meal. So funny. That is great your hubby did that for you and I am glad it was fun. Maybe I will ask mine to cook tonight. :o)

My husband cant be counted on to even boil water! He cant fry an egg without burning it. Even the simplest of all, instant noodle he cant do. What he'll do is put the whole packet of noodles into a bowl and pour hot water into it when what is really acquired was to put them into boiling water! I'll cook to avoid all the mess done by him!
