How many country radio stations do you have in your area?

When I was out of town last weekend (out in a rural, small town) - there were about 25 country music stations, 1 "top 40" station, and 1 classic rock station. I couldn't STAND the lack of variety they had out there! It was crazy. In the city where I live, we have a good variety of everything - and only 1 or 2 country stations. We have a mix of rock, classic rock, light rock, talk radio, rap, alternative, oldies, top 40, pop, and so on. What kind of radio stations do they offer in your area? Do you have a good variety, or is it mainly one type of music?

The mainly country one, or the variety one? lol I don't know which you were referring to. If the country one.. I hope you have a nice collection of mix CDs and a good car stereo system.

Entirely more than there needs to be! LOL Seriously, there has to be 10 or 15. It's insane. What we don't have and could use is a CMJ-style station that plays something other than the Billboard Hot 100. This town is desperately in need of some cultural education.

I wouldn't know because I avoid country music like the plague.
