If you enjoy animation then you should carry on with that. Even civil engineering is not bad but I would prefer you to go into the field of animation as it is very interestin...

Go where you are interested. It is hard to stay in engineering if you are not good in math or physics.Try to think things, to weigh the pros and cons.

well, well.....im a final year electronics and communication engineering student.. i could tell animation is some thing different from engineering... even my wish was to take up animation , but i took engineering...its very hard to go up in anime field...in india animation is growing very slowly, if u take up the United States, Pixar animation studios of Walt Disney, Warner Bros, japanese animation studios, sony animation Studios, but the toughest path is to get a job is very difficult, u have to prove urself to get into the top... so i recommend taking up engineering..i think drawing is ur hobby according to ur choice, so civil is better to take, u gotta design...but in first two semesters, u have to study entire things like physics, chemistry, some electronics, electrical, mechanical..in 2nd year u ll strat with ur field.. choose a good college is the councelling and enroll very carefully.. civil has a great future.. happy mylotting..

It has to be your choice. Civil engineering is one nice course and i know you can have a great future with it too. If you love animation then it would be ok, but i know it will also have to end someday. With growing technology like this, there will be big competition on that. What if you can take the civin engineering course and get that animation stuff as hobby instead ?. It might be a good idea since you can have two learnings. Happy mylotting and smile always!

Congrats on finishing high school and deciding on a career path! How exciting for you. I think animation has some merit. I'm not sure that it's the biggest and most growing field out there, but if you enjoy doing it, you should really just follow that.
