it was a repeat of last year's final at wombledon and this one was a notch better than that...the opponent in roddick was too hot federer that the man himself found it hard to break him...but a liitle bit of tiredness and bad luck spelled doom for roddick who was a better player on court than federer...whats your say on this match?? roddick deserved a victory.. happy posting!!!

In his all previous encounters with federer, i think it was best of all. He played his best game out there. He defended his serve very well, he gave just a single break point but unfortunately that was championship point. It is true federer having more experience of long matches with tough opponents that why he has much more physical stamina than others. It was equally good final compared to last one, when no one was hoping this. Roddick deserve at least one grand slam, specially wimbledon after winning his last one six years ago. Hopefully it is not too far.

roddick did deserve the win. he played an amazing match. he couldn't pull it off in the end is all. we are big into tennis here at my house. playing on 2 usta teams. we are very proud of the way andy played & feel he's on his way to a major victory.

I am a big fan of Federrer..And I say Roddick was the better man yesterday..I always liked his passion but never expected him to put up a fight like this..His serves were awesome..

If Andy hadn't have been injured when he fell in the 4th set, things might have been different. He never claimed he lost due to that injury but he has pulled out of the Davis Cup because of it which says all that needs to be said since he would not pull out of the Davis Cup unless he absolutely had to.

I like Andy Roddick, and I was rooting for him to win, but oh well, maybe next year. Federer sure has the stamina, doesn't he, especially in bypassing Sampras in Titles at Wimbledon. Roddick needs to eat more spinach, lol, then maybe he can last through the long matches. I hope that Roddick hangs in there and stays with tennis for many years. Thanks for your time.
