a car bomb exploded in our city

A series of bombings happen in mindanao today. a car bomb exploded in our city(iligan today. take note, its a car bomb not just the usual form of bombs like the one placed on bags or whatever. This is more like a true terrorist act. I never thought it would actually happen this huge amount of explosion in our city. our city was in hightened alert when a bomb exploded in cotabato last sunday. when something like that occur in cotabato most likely iligan city will respond or a pre concieved occurance will somehow happen. and true to its word, it did explode today. I was just wondering, whatever happen to the anti terrorist people or whatever they call themselves headed by Mr. Dureza(if im not mistaken), why werent they able to intercept such act if an explosion already happen prior to this? i mean, i could only but have criticisms to these people because this is unending occurance in mindanao. we are just going in circles. similar situations, similar occurance and still happening. when will this be stop and i couldn't understand why the authorities cannot get this people at once. I just hope the one assign to this can at least do his job efficiently and effectively. I mean, if he cannot do his job the way he is dictated to do then he has no right to head the agency. He must come up with a good story to what is happening again in mindanao.

I am again shocked and I am hearing that in Sulu there are similar incidents happening. I am suspecting this is a destabilization effort in the coming SONA happening this month. I think they want to embarrass the present administration about it. I think it is very difficult to really catch this persons as they are very mobile and their network is very wide. The intelligence of the the Military or the government is just not enough to really keep track of this terrorist.
I am saddened by these happening in your place. Peace and Order is once again being troubled by these people who just want to sow fear and terror in your place. I am very certain threats will again surface here in Manila after the strings of bombing is happening there. I just hope that the military here would be more alert to stop this string of boming from reaching us here in Manila.

I disagree on you about the destabilization. this has been going on way before. our bridge was also bombed a month ago i think. This is clear terrorism. if the govt and the military cannot get these people then who else can? I mean, who else can protect us from all whats happening to our country. If only the agency assign to this problem can only at least try harder to get the bottom of this. we cannot simply live in terror when these barbaric beings are out there who can strike any time they want at the expense of innocent civilians. If these terrorist are brave enough why not bomb directly the authorities instead the civilians.

I still believe that every bomb they would explode is to put the government down and embarrass their capability. If I am the one who would perpetrate the crime I would hold it in secrecy until the crime has been committed. I think military would have a hard time tracking this as they are indeed well organized group that they can make this kind of drastic act without any of their members from divulging their plans. Military has a hard time getting into the organization. They can only rely also on civilian's participation and mostly civilian will only act when the crime has been committed. I think for this to be solved and stopped both the civilians and the government should be extra vigilant on this things. Intelligence gathering would only be effective if the civilians would be cooperative with them.

I dont believe the authorities cannot get this people because it is their job to protect the civilians. there is no valid reason if crime is committed by anybody. They should hunt down these people and for God sake, let there be peace in mindanao for once!
