Now this is my opinion so yours is more than welcomed. I believe: 1. The day I was born 2. The day I achieve success (attain my dreams and asperations) 3. The day I die are the three most important dates which will mark my sojourn here on mother earth. Its not how I die but the contributions I have made to this life which will mark the importance of my passing. If I was never born Id have no life to live, no contribution to make. If I never accomplish anything I dream of ( though I may have to alter and change them due to failures setbacks or more success than I anticipate) then I would be a life too miserable to be of any good to anyone. What are the three (you may have more... no prob) most important days in your lives? Of what significance are these days to you?

There is only 1 day in life that is really important: TODAY! It is the only one that you have control over. Yesterday has already past and with it the opportunity to make anything happen yesterday. Tomorrow is on the way but today will shape what tomorrow is. You have to make the most of today for life to mean anything! I also disagree with your #2. I dont think success is a destination. If you have ever accomplished all of your goals and dreams, you are selling yourself short. Of course you should reach for them. Hopefully you will achieve everything that you are dreaming about right now. But as you accomplish those dreams and goals, you should be making more!

I do agree with you, TODAY is the most important one! Frankly speaking, to me, the dates are not that important. It's okay to forget my own birthdate, it's fine to forget the anniversary, living in TODAY is really more important. I can't think of any dates that I must remember in my life.

Ok. Here is my take. If I was not born there would be no today for me, so my birth date is important. Though I make projections for tomorrow should I pass on now it is what I have done which forms the story of my life. New dreams are formed in the light of others bieng accomplished or having failed, I consider that a norm. I share with others before, during and after I have accomplished and these accomplishments form a huge part of who I am and the contributions I make. These accomplishments of course are both big and small.

kaka135 I also forget my own birthday sometimes but I am not speaking of annual celebrations. The actual birthdate is the date to which I make reference. The day I entered the world.

As a wife, a mother and a grandmother I have way more than three most important days in my life. All of them are days that someone I love more than life itself was born. I don't list the day that I leave this earth as one of my most important days because I celebrate life and those I love. I'm sure it will be important when it happens but it will also be tragic and sad for those I leave behind.

Ha ha ha . Oh those days. Its the same in the livs of so many of us who have to go to work. I have not had a true Monday blues for quite some time now and I am happy for this. I always look forward to fridays though.
