He cleaned all day for me

We've been pretty stressed lately, and my husband and I have been fighting a lot. He's snapping a lot for seemingly no reason, and claims he can't turn his attitude off.
So to make it all up to me, he spent his entire day off yesterday cleaning! He did the dishes non stop all day and made sure there wasn't 1 single dish in the sink when he went to bed last night (normally I have to do 3 or 4 loads after he's had a day off).
He moved the sofas and cleaned underneath them and inside them.
He scrubbed the toilet and bathroom sink, and mopped the kitchen floor.
He still had an attitude all day though, lol.
Does your husband ever clean to try to make up with you?

All my husband did today was get on my nerves and gripe because we had a water leak that he had to fix and was having problems with it. It appeared to have been leaking for little over a month.

My husband won't do dishes at all..for nothing. He will clean house but not really to get on my good side..only when I am not feeling well.

It sounds like he's worried about his obligations as a husband and father and is feeling a bit inadequate. My husband just never quarrelled and that ocul dbe infuriating when I wantd to quarrel on the odd occasion. He used to cook dinner though on sundays for all of us. No, he sin't do anything to make up to me if we had had a little upset. he wopuld just be quiet until his mood changed

My husband does that too. If he knows he did something wrong he will follow me around with this sad puppy look and then all the sudden he will be all sweet. he will help do stuff around the house and take care of the kids. He'll even start tackling all the projects I've been after him to finish.
