Cellphone accidents and awareness

Hi ppl cellphone usage in public places becoming higher nowadays and some ppl not caring about traffic while crossing railway tracks and roads and they keep on talking or hearing music without caring abt traffic ends up dying in bus or train or car and this issue becoming serious nowadays ...do u think an awareness must be created for this???life is important than cellphones..ppl must take care of their lifes too while using in public places..in India yesterday also one women died while crossing railway track while hearing music in mobile on headset and some ppl shouted train coming but she kept on hearing song and walking on the railway track without caring abt the cries of ppl...post ur views regarding this and happy mylotting!

In my country Indonesia is also often the same. mobile phone has many features and most of its functions is as entertainment anywhere. while on the road or in a vehicle are many who listen to music while on the phone. accidentally bet they have their lives.

i think awareness should be made about the dangerous of being occupied whilst crossing traffic/train lines etc, but people will do what they want to do, i suppose you think you could hear a train coming or see it, but the point is that they move so fast that your reaction time in your brain is slower than the train moving

I think people do need to be a lot more careful about where they are using their cellphones and how they are using their cellphones. They can be dangerous when not being used correctly and I think they can be hazardous when not used in the right way. They are a conveinience which can cause problems.

Hi, friend. You are right, this is really tragic.
Cellphones not only generate indifference but there are other hazards also.
The waves the cellphones recieve and send are harmful to the human heart and brain.
Also, for better communication companies are opting for wider frequency bands
(3-G , broadband) and the GSM operating frequencies have started to move to GHz from MHz. That is really dangerous amount of energy and can easily produce sparks in an inflammable material, like at a petrol pump. There is a certain need to find the alternatives otherwise the accidents due to cellphones will drastically increase. So, try avoiding cellphone use at petrol pumps.
