Do we make our destiny or is it made for us?

There is a question that's always stuck in my mind. Do you think that destiny is chosen by our actions and doings or do you think that our destiny is already set out for us to live through? I really can't make up my mind and so i'd like to hear you opinions.

In my opinion, I believe that life is a matter of choice. When we were born, we were equipped with intelligence and capacity to think so that we can make decisions and choose for ourselves. I don't believe in destiny but I do believe in will power. Anything is possible to achieve if we have the determination to do it. Sometimes there is a divine intervention though if the heaven has something stored for us that will be for our own good. But in general, we are the one who make our own destiny.
