Die Hard meets I Robot

Later on this year a film called the Surrogates will be released and stars Bruce Willis as a hard nosed cop. The best way to describe it is Die Hard meets I Robot and is based upon a graphic novel. Does anyone feel that maybe Willis is becoming a little too old to be an effective action hero?

Certainly not! Look at the latest Indiana Jones movie... how old is Harrison Ford? Well, older than Willis, that's forsure, and he's still doing action flicks! I can actually name a bunch of actors who are still doing action flicks later in life, and Willis is only like 40 something, isn't he?

That's very true about Ford. I just felt that Willis was not great in Die Hard 4.0 and wondered if maybe he was still effective as an action hereo. Then if you look at the current crop of so called action heroes none of them are a patch on the likes of Willis, Stallone and Schwarzenegger and certainly lack their charisma. .... and as for Willis's age he's ..... 54.

I have to disagree because I thought the 4th Die Hard was just as good, if not better than the first 3, I watched them all in succession and loved each one! And you're right, today's action heroes are nothing compaired to the likes of 10-20 years ago. Sorry I thought he was a little younger than that, I don't normally keep track of things like that about celebrities!
