My name is Dorann. It is a combination of the names Doris and Ann and my parents adapted the meaning to "coming from the sea with grace." However, for my parents, the meaning of my name was to memorialize two great-great-grandmothers. I am proud to carry my name for both the meaning of it and for the strong women that it memorializes.

My name is Darby, and although I'm female, it's technically a male name. It has Native American roots and roughly translates to "free man".

My name simply means moon ...i dont know who kept my name...even i tried to know it sometimes but didnt get any satisfactory answer from my papa...but its good. Do you know vijay some people say that your name should not be anything that is the part of nature like...Lata..which means a creeper plant....Suman which means flower...Nishi...which means night....i have heard from an intelligent person saying that such person whose names are the part of natural elements, have to suffer too much in their life....my name is also the same...and i have also struggled a lot, do you believe in such sayings ??? Let me know your view coz i consider you also an intelligent person, you also know much abt fortunes, numbers, stars etc

I agree with some of the points.Latha is not a good name. But you can have a name referring to Sun. It is good. But sorry, moon is not good. The reason? simple, it can't directly give light like Sun.You won't be able to make decisions and you always depend on others. Moon appears to be growing for a few days in a month and its size reduces during the remaining days. Similarly your life would be with ups and downs.
