Micheal Jackson and the Black race

He was a gift from God to the black race, possibly a bridge to unite the blacks and the whites of America at a time racism was at its peak. Michael Jackson denied his race and bowed to the pressure of segregation which he could have been instrumental in reducing (because his entertainment style appealed to all races not only in America but the world over). He opted to become White by cosmetic surgery. Good enough, in his life time a black man by the name Barrack Obama became the President of America via a landslide victory at the polls. The whites voted for him, the native Indians did, the Hispanics were not left out and of course the blacks did as well. This happened in a land where blacks were once slaves and were degraded and killed not because of their sins but because of the colour of their skin. Obama achieved this feat in the same America of Michael Jackson, not in a different one. In the same America where racism still exists. Barrack Obama suffered just like any other black in America but unlike Jackson, he fought his way through it all armed with a great vision of a great change and today he is the symbol of America unity and the bridge now between the two American worlds of the whites and the blacks. Why Michael Jackson ran away from his skin remains a mystery because this was a man that became an obsession for persons of all colours. Every race paid to watch him. He ought to have achieved what politician Obama achieved, as an entertainer ago but he fled from his destiny. He failed the black world at a time he could have made the difference by attacking racism on the stage. Despite disowning the black colour which invariably means calling the black race sub-human, the black race loved him and considered him a source of pride. He was loved. If Jackson had retained his colour, would have still gone to places and achieved all that he achieved because he was a real talent that cannot be ignored by any. His life and time should be a lesson to all that we all have a message to the world that no one else could deliver. There is a divine reason why we are who we are, what we are and where we are from.

Michael never denied his race and did not change the color of his skin because he wanted to. It was due to a skin pigmentation called vitiligo. Please get your facts correct before writing stuff that is not true. His dermatogist is named Dr. Arnie Klein. Thank you and have a great day.

Michael was truely a great man.I don't think anybody wouldjust had taken pleasure in damaging his fame, which never got damaged anyway despite all the allegations he faced in his life time. He was doing amazing, selfless things - contributing to children's charities and starting his own "Heal The World Foundation"; cowriting the famous "We Are TheWorld" song to help African famine victims. Mike was everywhere, giving as much as he got and letting us all know how blessed he was. I may not have all the facts, but i write based on what i found in several articles and postings about him even while he was alive. Whatever M.J. was said to have done - whichever is true or not - does not matter, We all have our wrong doings. We just need to learn from one another. M.J. will always be a legend everyone will miss: whether black or white

You may want to find the interview with him and Oprah. There he explains to her the reason behind the change of his skin. He had a skin condition that caused him to turn white. Its genetics. He never denied that he was black. In that video he cleared up a lot of the lies that were being spread about him.

I personally not only liked the way MJ looked before the surgeries, but i liked his art better too. it's almost as if along with his skin colour he gave away his soul. I think he would've been much more popular if he didn't do all the surgeries and just kept on doing his work the way he was doing it before. If you look at his pictures from earlier years, he even looks happier, his smiles are more sincere. I think a part of him got lost somewhere...

Race aside, Michael had his problems. He was talented, but unless we lived with him for any amount of time no one can say for certain what type of person he really was. The only people who know who he was is his family.
