Would Palmarosa Oil be a good substitute for Rose Oil, just going by the scent, I know they have different properties, but I read that Palmarosa smells of Roses and I know Rose Oil is very expensive, so I was trying to thing of a cheaper alternative because I like the smell of Roses

Palmarosa is a very cheap alternative to rose oil, however it doesn't have the same therapeutic properties as rose. If you just want it for the smell, palmarosa should probably be fine. From what I understand there are no contra-indications to palmarosa oil, however I personally wouldn't use any essential oil on someone who is pregnant or on a child under 12.
