Are you one? Here are some signs. First an explanation! Kool aid refers to a religious cult of people who drank poisoned kool aid WITHOUT QUESTION because their leader told them too. Guess what? They all died. Big scandal. Media coverage. That's how I know about it. Secondly, sheeples. This is easy too. Sheep = wooly animals who often wander off and get eaten by predators. It isn't because they are stupid, but they don't know what they are doing, and they seem to be unteachable. They just do what others do without really thinking about it. Some people do this too, hence the term 'sheeple'. This has no ill intent! It is not exactly meant ALL IN FUN but for a bit of education too. If this makes your gorge rise, perhaps you are just feeling as if you might be or have been one of these in the past, and it is to be hoped that you will see the error of your ways and repent or um... at least apologize. Bad behavior is forgiveable but not if it continues! I just would like to know why folks continue to do either one of these things. Your creator, whoever you believe that is whether it is God, Buddha, or an alien life form GAVE you a brain and the power of choice. Choose wisely and choose freely, and your life will be better for it.

I know what the term means, in fact I had a discussion with someone yesterday on here about it. Though I am not one of them, there are a lot of weak minded people in this world looking for a better way. I think the people that followed Jim Jones to start with, thought that they were doing the right thing and didn't know that their leader would turn out to be crazy. In fact, some of the people there didn't drink the stuff on their own free will. There were a lot of children that was forced to drink it and some adults was injected with a needle. So no all of the people there did not do this without question, even Jim Jones didn't drink the stuff, he was shot.

This is a double sided problem. It's not just people who blindly follow, it is people who not-so-blindly still follow who could have left before things got ugly. it is people who second guess their decisions constantly, people who allow others to influence them more than they influence themselves... I just don't get it. I don't believe in blanket rules or guidelines. IF they make sense, then sure. I'm very agreeable if things make sense after I have thought them over. If they don't? Then I'm not doing it, or I AM doing it, or I'm not involved, or I'm overly involved. See what I mean? It should be up to the individual and if you can think and measure and decide and whatever it is is senseless, stupid, and only benefitting the jerk who made the rule, then it was made to be broken so help me God. I also have little pity for people who are in trouble because they didn't leave before a situation got bad. If they had a feeling it might get bad, they should have left. This is a situation I see repeated over and over in many different arenas. If you don't stand up for yourself consistently from the start, yes people will take advantage of you. They will keep taking advantage of you because they did it ONCE. They'll act like you've gone crazy if you try to defend yourself after you've allowed them to steamroll you in the past. This is why I now never even give half an inch and why I strike now and ask forgiveness later... it is better to prevent disaster than it is to try and pick up the pieces.

I won't drink the Koolaid. I want American made, supported and restored. The farmers need support, and where is the extra food production now? When will the lies stop about why, there is never any solution to solve any problem? Thats what we pay them for. Years of neglect to major issues and why?, we paid their salaries all those years? I do not buy Kolaid and I do not want any of it. Put the American people back to work. Support new business and get real breaks to the people who will start comapnies and hire. Do it now, not 20 years later, we do not have 20 and 30 years for things to change. People need homes, jobs, and food now.

No kidding. The main problem right now stems from our very own president. I have always said that we need to reduce or ELIMINATE our dependence on foreign well... anything. Unless we have something they need in trade so it does not make us the weak party in the dealings. We certainly could produce American made things at a decent cost, but we won't, and I don't know why. Someone has made a car that will run forever but I believe FORD put them out of business when it was discovered. Some Americans are cheap and greedy and they ruin the future for the rest of us. There is unfounded worry about 'the environment' so all sorts of ridiculous rules are made 'to protect it'. I think we are seriously barking up the wrong tree here. The environment existed long before us, we are not doing anything to it that it won't recover from after we drive ourselves into extinction by being stupid....
