Hi, No offensive is intended however after just reading a post about a money making website & the amount of posts begging for the link amazed me!!! Although there are plenty of websites that do pay and I'm not saying the one in the disscussion doesn't but there are still thousands of scams out there. I saw the website name (which was incorrectly spelt) and googled it, needless to say there were many negative reviews about how much work was involved for little money, the poor tracking etc etc etc. The internet is a great tool and I always research what I'm signing upto, yes there will always be negative reviews. I couldn't believe that many people were willing to sign up under this user who they don't know & simply take their word for it without any evidence!!! Are people really that gullible??? No research!!! No questions asked!!! Do you research the websites that interest you? or do you just sign up?? Thanks Mrsl x x

I had someone yesterday, that wanted to join under in one of my sites, but he wanted money put in his paypal. That is where I draw the line. I messeged him and told him that if he wants to join, he will hae to join wtithout me giving him any money. I just thin that is way over the top, and it shouldn't be done eseciallin in discussions. He asked for ir right in his discussion he started, and others tole him the same thing that he shouldn't be asking for money. I dont understand some people. I would never eer do that. I work hard for my money and I am certainly not going to give it to a total stranger, eve if he is in my friends list. I just think that is so rude and it might not have been much, but it is the priniciple of the thing. Needless to say, he didn't join the site.

Hi Rosekiss, Your experience is awful, if someone wants to join a site under you they should just do it and I think your better off without him!!!! Cheeky *************** & ******** (I can't say what I think as I will get told off, not that would be anything unusual) I'm pleased you told him where to go!!! Mrsl x x

I don't think so. Maybe, those people have lots of money and they don't have anything to spend so they waste it on scams.Lol! Happy mylotting!

I think the reason people are looking to join these sites is to make money not because they have lots of it!!

Yes, people are really that gullible. Not everybody, of course, but enough so that the scammers can always count on new victims. I've seen so many scam sites come and go, just skimming the praises and complaints here on Mylot. I used to try to be a good Mylotter and report some of the obvious scammers, but I finally gave it up. It's a flood that never stops. So many of the scams don't even need to be researched. All you have to do is know how legitimate websites work and you'll know that nobody is going to you $100. per referral. You're not going to make $50. a day on any site. A lot of people are too desperate for money and will try anything if it sounds good. Others are just lazy, trying to make a quick buck, or not intelligent enough to figure things out for themselves. Some aren't even intelligent enough to learn from their bad experiences. They just keep falling for the same kinds of scams over and over again.

I get what you are saying about people being to quick to believe these scams- on the upside one of the perks of mylot isfolks can come here and ask questions and talk about these sites. I have been scammed- I would bet most people who have tried to work online (from home) have. It is a almost a given because folks can be gullible when they first start looking for internet work. I started out that way and now before I do anything I try to research and see what it is all about- I'm very leary of sites and people. Good topic to cover. Good luck and happy mylotting!

Hi DNC I still don't think anyone is immune from being scammed but your right about Mylot & when you first start out. Spreading the word here & on your personal sites & blogs is the best way to go. Thanks for the response Mrsl x x

Well, I think those people who can easily become gullible is just because they are too much want to make money, love makes people blind, money does too. lol As for me, before I decide to sign up at some site, I will definitely investigate it carefully first, if I can't be sure it is a 100 percent liable site, I will never sign up unless there are some proofs.

I think people are becoming more interactive on the internet and with additional knowledge unlike the past, they are now signing up for properly registerd websites. If for some reason, they feel that they don't get the required feedback from the site, they don't stay connected to the site much longer. I asked 2/3 friends before I posted this and they all agree to getting their facts staright before registering, sometimes even reading the user agreement.

Sadly, people are that gullible. I read a blog the other day where there was an $1800 start up fee! Who would pay that amount for a get rich quick online website. I won't sign up for anything that asks me for money, because generally, you have to make a duplicate website, pay for the adwords, and then hope people are dumb enough to spend the money on your website. I also won't sign up for the websites that have all the fancy pics of people in jets, and driving nice cards, where words are highlighted in yellow. I always research before signing up, and I have a seperate email that I use, so all their spam goes there.

I always sign up website in order to research some thing. But I dont find sth that I want sometimes. I can not find that. I am disappoint. Now the website is good or bad, but it is difficult to divide them.

Yes i believe that many people are gullible in the internet and believed in many scams around. Usually i would only use websites that are trusted and those professional websites which definitely guarantees a payment. When a website interests me, i will be reading up a lot on their FAQ, which usually only professional websites has, but usually i cant find much of its accurate info in other places of the internet.

It did seem that once Bubblews stopped paying so much, people went elsewhere and most of those sites went to the wall fairly quickly but people were enthusiastic about them until next thing they closed down, or as in the case of one, the owner did a runner with whatever money the site had made. I don't think people do a lot of research, they just see somewhere they can earn money and put a lot of time and effort into things on the hope they will be paid.
