Promises,

How often do you tell friends you will do something knowing fully well that you are not going to do it or how many times have someone promised you something only for them to renege on the promise without a good reason,? I have done this before and its not because I want to break a promise but sometimes circumstance beyond my control force me to do otherwise .In all I have learnt now never to make any promise on issues without being sure of what I will do. What about you? do you just make promises or you mean it when you say those things?

I never promise to do something for someone and then back out on it. I have never been that type of person. I have had promises made to me alot of times though and people do not stick to it. If I make a promise, I stick to it.

I have friends and family and they always break their promises and change all the arrangement so you do not know what you are doing from one day to the next.They would not like it if i was to change or break my promise to them.I tend to say ok now if they promise something as i know it may never happen so now i do not take their word for it that way i am not angry when they break their promises.
