Has anybody ever had a premonition of death?

I don't know if this belongs in the Life category, but since I am not aware of a category called Death, I thought this would be the best place to put it in. For the last couple of days I've been constantly thinking about death. It all started in a moment of lucidity when, all of a sudden, I had the revelation that one day I will die. I know everybody knows that but this was somehow different, more real, like a glimpse into something totally unknown. It wasn't only the thought of it, I had thought of it many times before but it hadn't felt like that. This time it was different, very strong and scary, almost surrealistic. Has anybody had a similar experience?
