I am baking a 9" cake tomorrow - when I take the pans out of the oven should I take the cake right out or let them cool in the pans first? And when I take them out how can I do this without breaking the cakes (2 layers) and get them right-side-up on the cooking rack?

Hi! I let my cakes cool in the pan before i turn them out. When i turn out my cakes onto the racks, to keep them from breaking i always put the rack against the pan and then turn it upside down. Good luck.
