I came back my parents' home several days ago ,so it will be a long time before I being together with my lover again. Now my lover is left alone in shanghai, work alone ,and live alone. I miss him very much. though it's just 3 days we haven't met, I feel as if it's a long long time

it's bitter but i think it's better if you won't meet your lover everyday... a bit distance gives spice in every relationship. :)

Hi xiaowen, I understand how you feel being separated by distance from your loved one. However, with the Internet and sophisticated handphones, communicating with them is much easier, unless it's difficult for your lover to be contacted due to unavailability of network over there. If he's going to be in Shanghai over a long period, you might want to move nearer to him, that is if you're into a serious relationship with him, and if you both plan / are ready to get married. If you're still studying, it's best you complete your studies first. If your lover is loyal to you, he will wait no matter how long. A friend of mine waited and dated 10 years before tying the knot :) Best wishes to you. Hope things will turn out fine for both of you.

yeah, i could relate to you that it is indeed a bitter thing to be separated from one's lover especially if you are madly in love with the person. distance can really makes us lonely and alone. the intimate and happy times together keep rushing to our minds reminding us of the tenderness and affection of the other whom we miss so much. each day that passes by will turn into longer days and magnify the absence of the other. goodluck. it is going to be tough. be strong.

To be seperated from a love one is indeed harsh and I believe it is not something to be done to anyone in life. No matter it is for 1 day or several days, the moment you are attached to someone you love it is difficult at first to live up to the small seperation. My parents are bend to seperate me with my boyfriend who is of a different religion and we are together for more than 3 years now,I hope the idea of seperating us will soon fade away. I wish you join your partner soon.

I understand what you feel because I also felt the same way when my boyfriend graduated his college. We were in the same school before and I used to be with him everyday after class. My life changed when he graduated and went to manila for a job. Its hard to adjust. But then what important is you have constant communication with each other at same time trust each other. Today, I'm also here in Manila and we were together again coz I just graduated last April...Don't be so sad...There's always a perfect time for the two of you.
