kevchua started a new discussion called Why an Increase in Horror Movies? in tv.
There seem to be a lot more horror movies in Asian cinemas (and perhaps even in western ones) lately compared to the past 5 years. It makes me wonder if movie producers have actually run out of ideas and plots that the only way to attract audience to their movies is to scare them? What do you think?

kevchua started a new discussion called Nostradamus: Is he superhuman? in questions & answers.
Tell me a person who has never heard of Nostradamus. But who is he actually? How is it possible that an "ordinary human" is able to see what's going to happen hundreds of years or perhaps even thousands of years later? Are his prophecies real? If he could predict the future, could he recap what had actually happened to earth a long time ago? He even predicted that something big would happen in ...

kevchua responded to a discussion called Why do some people have the tv up soo loud? in people.
A few reasons come to mind. First, they're hard of hearing. Second, they want to show off their new sound system. Third, they merely want to tell others that they're "king" in the neighbourhood and they don't give a damn if you complain. It's not only TV, but also audio stereo system too!

kevchua responded to a discussion called Do you like to write poem? in life.
Yes, I do. However, I must have a reason to write one, so it's not really a hobby. I write poems to express extreme anger, disappointment and most of all, romance for a person I love. Check out my website in my personal profile. There's a link to some of my recent poems. To be good in poem, you need to be able to be creative and it is mandatory to possess a good command of the language (any ...

kevchua responded to a discussion called are children smarter nowadays? It's elementary my dear grandpa....... in life.
Children of today are intellectually different from those of yesterday. Except for people like Mozart, who was a child prodigy, the rest grew up as normal children would. Nowadays, with the advancement in science and technolgy, children grow at a rapid rate, their mental faculties develop faster. Therefore, they're able to speak, read, and solve simple problems at a much earlier age than when w...

kevchua responded to a discussion called Would you rather have eldest brother or sister? in family.
Well, I wouldn't want to be biased because both genders have different traits. It also depends on the genes. So there's generally no difference having an elder brother or an elder sister. If they know how to care, they will. If they know how to love, they will too regardless of gender.

kevchua responded to a discussion called How can I forget and forgive and start over????? in love.
It's easy to forgive, but it's not easy to forget. Whatever pain that a person has suffered will be a permanent scar. It's not impossible for anyone to forget the past, but it takes lots of understanding and compassion, something which not many people are able to do. If your friend truly wants to forgive and forget, she will have to start on a clean slate - completely forget everything that ...

kevchua responded to a discussion called Honest Opinions: Can Money Buy Happiness? in enjoy life.
I used to think that money cannot buy happiness. My opinion has changed since; i've seen people being so happy when they're able to buy something at a shopping centre, when they're able to visit that very place they have been dreaming of and tell the story. Yes, money can buy happiness; however, it is only temporary. Sadness will creep in when you abuse the money that you have. That's my stand.

kevchua responded to a discussion called Education vs. make money!!! in life.
No matter what, some basic education is required to ensure you lead a useful life. There's no need to have a Ph.D. because it's not necessary. If you have the basic education (reading, writing and speaking), PLUS hard work and determination, and good contacts, you'll be able to earn a good income.

kevchua responded to a discussion called what did people do to get married without much money? in questions & answers.
It all has to do with what society thinks. Is having your own house really important before deciding to get married? Many will say yes because they want to live independently. Others would marry and live with their parents first while they work hard to get their own houses. Personally, I think parents would not mind if their married children and husband live with them temporarily until they're ...
