In the story it is a family who lives together for ever, but then there is also the idea brought up in it of spending forever with the person you are in love with. So if you were going to live forever, would you want to spend it with family members, friends, or a romantic partner?

If I could live forever, I would also want to have a girlfriend who would live forever. It would seem like life could be lived to the fullest that way, with a partner you loved. But of course, if we had kids then I would also want them to live forever.
