i think I would buy a used car. As much as I like the idea and the feel of having something brand new, it is just not practical. For one thing, used cars are significantly cheaper, and just as good as new cars assuming you purchase one from a reputable dealer. In addition, the depreciation rate of cars is extremely high, so there really is no reason to buy a new one.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Financially it is just a much better situation to get a used car, unless you really have lots of money to spare.

i would surely go for a new one provided i dont get short for money i would save for it coz new has the feel , even an old car is neither a bad option , but when u sit in ur car for the first time u feel that u have bought something new , and it is worth it coz it would not trouble u for at least the warranty period even if it does u have that option , and i would go for old one only if i dont have money but b4 buying it i would inspect it from all the ends

Yeah I'm a college student too and there's no way I could buy a new car... Hmm I don't really know about dealers. I suppose you could look into it online.

if i have money, then i would buy a brand new car than the used one. because buying used car has not a 100% guaranty, you may spend your money on the maintenance.

That's true, you have to make sure you don't get a junker.

Sometimes it is impossible to purchase a new car. Lack of money for the car that I want usually prevent me purchasing a brand new car. However, I have had five cars in my lifetime and out of the five, three of them were brand new. I so prefer a brand new car. The smell of a new car last for months and any repairs are fall down the road, unlike a used car. So, if you can, purchase a new car and drive worry free for a while.
