Do you like to read Novels or Magazines ?????

I much rather read novels, but I don't mind reading magazines. I read Yoga and Fitness i think it is. I just bought them at the store not to long ago, and I enjoyed both of them to help me see how some of the moves they talked about looked. I like the yoga one the most because it talked about a lot of different things.

I for sure like to read novels way more then magazines. I read magazines when i'm waiting in the dentist/doctors office but that's about it. There really isn't anything that substantial about reading magazines unless they are science magazines. I like to read novels because they are able to transport me to some other place. They broaden my imagination and help me to understand situations that i've never been in before.

Hi there, well i prefer to read magazines than novel. In magazine I gain many informations that i needed in my everyday life. Among the magazines i read were Smart Parenting - i am already a mother of 1 and this magazine helps me a lot to manage my daughter well. Entrepreneurs - is another magazine that i read most of the time you can get many information here regarding business. I am hoping that i can have one so I started reading discussions about making business and i am glad that we have Entrepreneurs magazine here. I also look for magazine having cooking topic I am not a good cook but i am trying to be one heheh. Well celebrity maagazines is another favorite of mine to read. Novels for me is a long way to read and sometimes i dont have patience reading it so my choice Magazines hehhe. Keep on mylotting.

I have a hard time reading novels these days. Probably a result of being burnt out by textbooks. All books remind me of textbooks. And I haven't seen a textbook for years. Magazines are so consumable.

I love reading both but I read more novels because I don't have any source of magazines.

I prefer to read both of them. But I must say that magazines provide a light-hearted reading. Novels can be boring at some point if you lose the track of the story and there is no point in further reading it, but on the other hand there are some novels that really are worth giving time. Magazines have the advantage that they can be read anywhere and at anytime, it's like you are reading a collection of short stories. You can leave the part of the magazine that you dont like but you cannot do so with novels. I like to read fashion magazines that keep me updated with latest fashion trends. But still if I were given the choice of taking up a magazine or the novel from my favorite author I would choose the novel.

Hi busky5, I like magazine more compared to novels. I don't quite like readings, therefore I prefered 'light' reading. Magazine is good as a time 'filler' while we are 'killing' time queueing at the bank, buying cinema tickets, in the trains, in the public transport etc. Magazines have more variety in its contents..therefore we can browse through easily to select the page we want to read...of our interest The format adopt by magazine is reader friendly too. Many pictures, bigger words and colourful too! Some magazines even have puzzle, sudoku, brain teaser.. this is very interesting indeed. Just loving it. My husband always choose the 'sudoku' page first from any magazine ie. airline magazine and newspaper. I like to read 'Women' 'Female' 'Women Weekly' 'Vogue' 'Prestige' , 'Astelier' magazines...some even have contest in it to win some freebies like free hotel stay, free spa, free movie tickets...I do win quite a number of 'Special Screening' movie tickets from magazine :) All the best..Cheers!
