How you are balancing your food ?

We are having a balanced food at home. Most of the days in a week we will have fresh vegetable dishes. One or two days we have non-veg foods. We will use curd and eggs.We will use most types of fruits. Is it sufficient for a healthy life? How you are balancing your food ? What and all you will eat for a healthy life ?

i'm vegan, so i try to eat a good amount of grains and beans every day. i eat a lot of veggies and fruits, mostly raw. sometimes i have "junk food nights" this is when i go out to eat with my family or my boyfriend's family. this days i eat cooked veggies, some soy meat and other things that i don't normally eat.for me cooked veggies is a junk food lol...

I try to eat a balanced diet. For breakfast I have cereal or porrige with natural youghurt. Then for lunch I have one serving of carbohydrates e.g rice,bread with salad or vegetables and a fruit. For dinner I will have one or two servings of carbohydrates with another serving of vegetables and a tofu product. As im a vegetarian. Each day I try to eat a good quantity of fruit too. However im a believer that you can eat anything and remain healthy as long as the intake is in moderation and you exercise regularly.So each day I indulge in a dessert whether its an ice cream or cake ect..

I believe we are having a balanced food at home. As it is, we are more used to cooking fresh here in India so we have fresh veggie curry and pulses regularly. Along with that, fish is our staple so we have that too. Eggs are a part of breakfast though not regularly in this heat…curd is everyday and meat is once or twice a week. We don’t do anything extra for health food. Fruit is there too in breakfast, but not regularly.
