What should I present my wife on our 17th wedding anniversary?

Don't be startled by the fact that we are entering our 17th year of wedded life, for we Indians are known to be quite tolerant (just joking). I tought the best place to get advice on something for the anniversary should come from you here. So, all you mylotters, do help me get out of this mess and suggest an appropriate present for the occasion.

Well... the symbol for the 17th anniversary is amethyst. So you could always go traditional and buy a personal piece which uses the jewel to physically represent that anniversary.
I guess it depends on what your wife would prefer. If she is quite traditional, than jewellery is always a nice bet, combined with a romantic day it should go down a treat. Alternatively you could always reminise your first date? It may be something seen as special. Or you could completely flip this, and go for a modern or fun-packed day out - such as a fair, or a beach trip, where winning cuddly toys and collecting shells would be the present. It's less romantic, but it does inject some fun into the relationship, and is great for bonding one on one.
The most special presents tend to be personal ones, especially with such a long time of marriage (for which i admire you, its great to see love still ties people) a personalised present that has an inside meaning to it. then you dont have to worry about costs etc etc, its the emotional value of the gift that matters.

i guess she love if "17th anniversary party" just you and your wife get canddle light dinner in romantic situation, maybe in the roof you preparing the canddle light dinner, with under the star and romantic music. Or make surprise her in romantic restaurant, with performent romantic instrument song, you must asking the waiters restaurant to prepares something you think excellent service. And give her a gift that she will love you more better than ever.( find the restaurant that you can afford )
