There are some issues that can be fixed and then there are some issues that cannot be fixed. Remember when Turkey was helping the war in Iraq by allow supplies through their country. Democrats tried their best to turn Turkey against the war by offending Turkey. Democrats in 06 decided to condemned Turkey back when it was the Ottoman Empire during World War One. This was one of those issue that cannot be fixed, so why bother. Well I know why the Democrats did what they did, but that is just an example. Since I am not a conservative you can do what ever you want with this advice. There are important fight that need to be fought, like cap and trade, government run health care, and card check. Yet what does not need to be fought over is Obama's birth certificate. What is the point, he still was elected. If someone could prove that Obama was born in Kenya, what then, Biden is President? Look I believe Obama was born in Hawaii. Obama does not need to show me his birth certificate.

First of all, why should the country only talk about 1 topic at a time? Second of all, what you are saying is, "there are issues more important than the US Constitution". Third, I ask you (and everyone else), how would you have reacted if McCain, Palin, Clinton or anyone you oppose refused to prove their eligibility? What if Bush had of sealed his education record? All we are asking is for Obama to be treated like everyone else.

So what is your solution, what is the end game, ParaTed. Let us say for just a moment that Obama has a press conference tomorrow and announces he was born in Kenya. So because his Presidency is in violation of the Constitution, he gets impeached. Joe Biden is now President, what was accomplished. One could say McCain was illegal to run for President, he was born in Panama. True it was a military base, but not in the USA. Lets just say by some dumb luck a Panamanian (I hope that is what they are called) was born on that military base. Is that Panamanian eligible to run for President?

First of all, Pelosi and Reid DID require McCain to prove his eligibility... he complied. What was accomplished is the US Constituition was upheld! Nowhere in the US Constitution does it say that a person has to be born in the USA. It does say: "No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States." In other words, even though nothing about McCain's birth was in question (to anyone who had actually read the US Constitution), Pelosi and Reid still made it a point to question his eligibility... then blocked all efforts to require Obama to do the same. McCain's eligibility had nothing to do with whether he was born on a military base or not... he is eligible because he's a natural born citizen. All we are asking is for Obama to be treated exactly the same as everyone else. Why is that too much to ask? http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.articleii.html

My question would be...why ask a Republican born outside of the 50 states to prove his eligability if you're not going to require it of a Democrat? I see headlines saying Hawaii is satisfied with the evidence he was born there. Why the lie about which hospital then? Why not just produce the damn thing and be done with it? If McCain had to, why not Obama? His hedging around it just makes me doubt him more. And I have asked 'what if?' But the important issue here is the Constitution. If Democrats only want the Constitution when it benefits their cause...what does that tell you about the legislation they're passing?

Actually he DOES need to prove where he was born. McCain was subjected to Congressional hearings when questions about his eligibility were raised... and he provided his proof immediately. What makes 0bozo any different? He is hiding something, and he needs to come clean. Many things depend on his proving who he claims to be.
