I've been thinking of starting a business out of my own home, but am curious as to what people would buy. I've been thinking of either selling Candles or possibly baby items, such as homemade baby blankets and bibs. What you you guys buy from a home based business?? any and all opinions are welcome. :-)

You have to think of products that are in demand right now. With the economy the way it is people have limited their spending to the point where they are really differentiating between wants and needs. That is the problem, people are really being selective with their spending. If you visit my profile and take a look at my website, I run a business from home as well and my website can give you a good idea of what I do.

It will be hard to make money doing this because you will need to find a distributor that would sell them for cheap and then turn around and make a profit. If you have connections cool, for a home based business the expenses will probably outweigh the revenues

I've just started a home based business within the last six weeks. What I'm selling is kitchen storage supplies. It is definitely a slow start, but it is a great product that is doing very well in these tough economic times. The start up costs are relatively low but the products are in high demand. Beyond what I'm selling (which I decided to start because it is the main thing that I'll buy), about the only other item that I will purchase from a home based business is Tastefully Simple. I love that stuff because the food stuffs taste so good. It really keeps my spice cabinet full. If you are interested in my business, feel free to message me and I will get you more information.

a lot!!! i wouldn't pay for a pedicure since I can do it myself! I wouldn't pay for waxing since I can do it myself! If i can cook food, then why buy? I wouldn't pay for money-making schemes on the internet which are obviously scams!
