Helping your referrals.

Whenever I sign someone up on a site I usually make sure they understand or even go by and comment if its a site like this. Sometimes I will send an email or message depending on the site. With mylot I make sure to go by and comment on new discussions my referrals have started since without friends sometimes they dont get many comments until they get the hang of it. Social sites I visit and comment their pages and such. So I try to help my referrals out? Do you? I have noticed that nobody ever follows through and helps me out when I sign up under them.

You are what I call the new generation of internet marketing. I am the same way that is the reason why I don't loose my referrals. Your referrals are your best assest. Treat them well and your business will grow

Good for you! =) There have been about 3 times when I have been a referral for someone and wanted some more information or help or had questions and in all three of these instances I was totally ignored, I guess because I had already signed up as their referral. How rude I think. Thank you for being so caring.

what is silly of them though is most sites you do not earn anything from referrals unless you remain active or you get a percentage of what they earn so they could be losing money. How much sense does that make. Sheesh. Help people out. LOl

That is the same thing that happens to me too. I do not mind helping out my referrals but they have never done it back for me. I join and they leave me to fend for myself. Alot of people join and do not want my help and they do nothing with the sites either.

I just think that extra guidance sometimes encourages them to give a site a chance.

Oh I had several bad experiences on exchange referrals. I sign up under them, do my work and in return expect to do me the same favors. At start, things will go on as expected but after sometime, they will just disappear. I figured I am not lucky in having exchange referrals so I just started working on my own. It's kinda slow earning on my own but at least I have no hard feelings on anyone. Ciao!

I do exactly the same thing. I got a brand new referal just the other day, when my friend Melanie joined the site. I answered any questions she had, and then e-mailed her other information, as I thought of it. I've also made it a point to frequent her discussion, and she even earned a few best responses from me (they really were best responses), so I'd say she's off to a pretty good start.

Noice! Thanks for the advice babykeka80! Now I would do the same thing with my referrals. I have a lot of referrals but only 15 referrals but only one of them is active, and I don't think it would be for long. They say that mylot is hard to understand.

That is what I mean by helping them. Make them understand it. Show them the ropes so to speak. Explain the site and they too may become hooked.

I am really big on helping my referrals, too. I think that if someone is interested in a site that I have been working at and that I have figured out, it is nice of them to sign up under me, because I will be earning a little bit more with the referral. When I get a referral, obviously I would like them to be successful within the site, or I wont be earning extra money from them! But I have noticed, too, that a lot of people that I have signed up under never helped me out. I guess we are a few of the nice ones out there!

Hi babykeka, Whenever I invite friends to sign up under me (here at myLot), I send them a welcome message, and there I give advices on how to maximize their stay, the do's and dont's, how to increase earnings, the proper decorum so as not to create conflict with other members, etc. As I am relatively new here so the advices I give them are those I got from the members who have been here long enough and have already gained good reputation. I also assure them that should they need to know anything, I'm always happy to oblige. I feel that since I brought them here it is my responsibility to give them a "walk-through" so they're armed with the necessary knowledge for a fruitful and worthwhile myLot experience.
