Oh where oh where can my Kitty be

Our old girl went out last week as her usual and has not come home yet. We have looked everywhere including the local shelter but no one has seen her. Our Ollie has been with us since she was born and now almost 13 years later I cannot find her. She has always loved the out doors but usually comes home every day to sit with me for a while. I am missing her dearly for she always knew my mind. Never a people cat when I became pregnant the first time she became my best friend. She was there during the long 4 month of bed rest with first baby, and when we lost our last baby she became a permanent part of my shoulder (where she liked to sit), and until last week has spent the last year in this spot whenever home in house. I miss my kitty.

I'm sorry that Ollie has disappeared. I had one do that, he went out one day and just didn't come back, he too was 12ish years old. I called him Gnu, because when I first got him I wasn't going to name him and called him - that new kitty, so he became that Gnu kitty

when she was little before she came home with us my mother had (she was my cat growing up kitten) a shelf safe that looked like a book. the lock was broken and was easily opened and she would crawl up the shelf to sleep in it. The title on the safe was Oliver Twist so since she was a girl it became Ollie.

the black and white kitten in my avatar is named Oliver for Oliver Twist, because he was an orphan kitty

Well don't stop looking or give up on her. My friend had a cat that disappeared all of a sudden and eventually she gave up hope of finding her. All of a sudden one day about a year later...there she was at the door waiting to be let in. no one knows where she was or what she was doing for the year. She was living in Spokane, WA and endured a severe winter not returning until the following fall?? So you never know, she could show up when you least expect it. I do sincerely hope so anyway. We just had a kitten disappear about a week ago. We have cats inside and outside. Most of the outside cats have been spayed or neutered, but not 3 of the 7. It could have been predators or she somehow got lost in the woods or who knows, but for a week our outdoor kitten of about 5-6 weeks old has been missing. I feel your pain, Good luck and Brightest blessings for a safe return. Mari

I hope you find your kitty, I know how much you miss her and I hope she knows that too and comes back home to you soon.
