"I can give my life for someone", "I love you more than anything in the world". We have read n heard these dialogues for so many times. But do you think you love someone more than yourself? can you give up your life for your beloved?

I have seen many persons telling that their spouse and children mean a lot more than themselves. But I think everybody loves himself/herself more than others. Of course you may risk your life to save your family member or family, that is different.

its like kelly clarkson song. MY LIFE WILL SUCK WITHOUT YOU. yes i love my wife and our son that my life will never be complete without them. when i need to work out of town my mind and my heart is always with them. i never fail to call at home or chat cam to cam for me to see if they are okay. so yes we can love someone more than we love ourselves. i do love them both as more as i love my self.
