How many times did you watch ethernal sunshine? I watched it nearly 15-20 times and everytime I watch the film I find some interesting details about the first scene which he meets clementine again. For example, he don't know anything about huckleberry hound altough that was one of his favorites, and of course he couldn't make any jokes about her name, you can not get this detail with the first watch because it's explained later. Another one is that clementine makes the same speech in both meetings starting with "I am not a concept..." and there are many more. English is not my native language. I wish it was, just to get the most of this film :)

This is one of my favorite movies, not only for the storyline, but I think it really shows Jim Carrey's true acting abilities. He's a real person, not a cartoon of himself. I love many of the small details, too. For example, how all the books are turned around in the bookstore, so they are pages-side-out. I'll have to watch the movie again to see the beginning and pay attention to that part. I love all the characters at the doctor's office, too, and think that Mark Ruffalo is excellent in that movie. It made me want to see a lot more of him in movies after I saw "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." I've probably seen the movie about 3 times, but it's one that I can watch over and over. The other two movies that I feel that way about are "Lost in Translation" and "Stranger than Fiction." Have you seen either of those?

Yes, Lost in Translation is also a good movie. I haven't watch "Stranger than Fiction" yet. I will buy that one asap. Thanks for the advice.

I absolutely love this movie. i find the meaning of enjoy things while they last even if you know they will crash in the end. I love to watch it over and over. i believe i've only got up to five times, but still i find it enjoyable each time. I've loved Jim Carry since the first time i saw one of his movies and i think this is one of his best.
