Universal Health Care: Good Idea or Bad Idea?

I've heard a lot of people concerned lately that Obama is trying to get universal health care passed in the US and I wanted to hear other people's opinions. I'm still on the fence about this. I know a lot of people that need medicine but can't get health care. A lot of people in my family have diabetes, which gives them a heck of a time with health insurance companies and causes them a lot of trouble. And I know a lot of people that could really use health insurance that just can't afford it because they have too many other bills and just don't make enough. But, then again, I can see on the negative side of it, too. Like, for example, nothing by our government ever runs really smoothly and there's always problems caused by it. I doubt health care would be any different.
