simple pleasures

I too enjoy all the little blessings that my life is filled with. I can't say that I do not want anything, but I can say that those things that I do want are not flashy or expensive things. They are normally things that will improve my family's life in one way or another. I rarely want things that are strictly for myself and am very content with getting things that I really need and allowing my husband and kids to get more od the things that they may simply want at that time. My husband is a lot like me in that the simpler things in life are what make him happy too. The way we both feel, we have nothing to complain about if our children are healthy and have all they need, the bills are all paid, and there is plenty of food on the table. This attitude really has gotten us farther ahead in life and it seems that as a result, the things that we buy, such as a new tv, or a new game for the playstation, are few and far between and we are continually putting off those types of purchases.

Right simple pleasures are also blessings from above, so counting our blessings will make us appreciate the simple pleasures we have.
