What is the best museum you have ever visited? What town, state (country) was it in? What was the most memorable thing you saw? I went to the Museum of Science and Industry when I was a kid in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was amazing! The best thing I remember seeing was the huge doll house, intricately detailed with electricity run all throughout. That was the highlight for me, but then again, I was a little girl too. LOL

I went to Anne Franks house which is a museum now. It is in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It tells her life story and she wrote a diary whilst in hiding during World War II. She was a Jewish girl. A lady that hid Jewish people was Corrie Ten Boom and she has museum in the Netherlands too. They were incredibly interesting but sad museums showing a nasty time in history. The best museum that I have been to was a maritime museum in Mossel Bay in South Africa. It is on the Garden Route which is between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. I loved seeing a large old sailing ship that I climbed aboard. The museum was great for buggy and wheel chair access. It gave details of interesting stories and superb objects were available to see. I remember another maritime museum in Perth in Australia. The stories of voyages were fantastic and told how many tried to get to Western Australia but didn't quite make it.

I am fascinated with the history of World War II (Have you ever seen Schindler's List, the movie?? Excellent!!) I remember hearing my classmates book reports on the story of Anne Frank, and I did not know there was a museum in her honor, but I can imagine it would definitely be worth visitng.

Hi princess, I don't know if my choice would be the best one I ever saw but it certainly stands out for me and that was the one which houses Napoleons's tomb in Paris, along with the military artefacts of the time. It stands out so much as I was only a child the first time I saw it and probably before I knew much about Napoleon. There have been many others since but that one really did stand out for me.

I am not a cutural connaiseur when it comes to museums, but there are some that I would really like to visit! My best friend is dying to see King Tut, which is exhibiting right now until next spring in San Francisco. She joked with her husband he either lets her spend the money to go to San Francisco to see it or he can fly her out to Egypt. LOL

I went to the Smithsonion when I was a young girl and it was amazing. I have always wanted to go back and plan on it someday. There was no way I could've saw everything it was so big. I remember an exhibit that was "fashion through the years". There were dresses and suits from every era. It was neat seeing how clothes had changed over time.

I had visited Blikon Blewut Museum. It is situated in Catholic High Seminary on the south west of Maumere town, Sikka regency, Flores Island, NTT province, Indoensia. Maumere takes about two hours by flight from Denpasar Bali. In the museum you can see prehistoric cultural tools at the stone age of flores, bronze age, European stone age, Rome golden stone, porcelain articles, traditional music tools.Don't forget you can see pre Dutch Ikatweaving.

That would be a very intersting place to visit! I love seeing and learning about historical artifacts and getting the stories of how they were used and what they aided to the cultures of the time. I am definitely a history lover of all sorts.
