How many English words do you know until now ?

Recently ,I memorize English words everyday . Because I just know a few English words ,that it about 7 thousand .At least it is not enough for me take a English language exam . It is a bitter experience to momorize English words . How many English words do ou you know now ?

Hi,dorahuang .I think it is a difficult question for you .You started to learn English when you are little . You are good at English . You may know dozens of thounsand English words .

i have never counted how many i know..but i feel i know quite a lot but not totally..but will try to count from now onwards

Yeah,many people did not count that before . You may have a try to count how many words do you know until now .

Wow,seven thousand is a lot of words. What kind of English exam are you studying for? Is there a list of specific words or are you just trying to learn words from a dictionary or Newspaper? Unless you are learning English verbs and all the verb tenses knowing many words will not be of much help. It is the usage that is most important.

You are great job alot.I believe i can't know alot alike you.I can't count how many English words which i know now.I know only i will have a dictionary beside me everytime when i play mylot.
