How to prevent cramps while running

When I go running, I get really bad cramps or gas pains in my abdomen. It only happens when I run in the morning; I'm fine in the afternoon. People I talk to say its nothing to worry about, but it is very uncomfortable and I was wondering if there is anyway to prevent it. I always try to avoid running right after a meal.

Abdominal pain from running sounds very suspicious. You might want to talk to a professional who specializes in sports medicine.

I asked my doctor and she didn't think it was anything to worry about. But it is for me, because I'm the one suffering it.

Does your doctor specialize in sports medicine? All doctors are not created equal.
