Every where I go people are discussing health care and they are very heated about it. I just wish we could get a look at the bill being considered. There are so many rumors going around that I don't know what to believe. How do you feel about this?

There are a lot of rumors about the new health bill. I think that until we know exactly what we are facing..we should stay calm. We really just need to know what we are dealing with and go from there. There are ups and downs to everything and this will be no different I'm sure, but everyone knows that the current state of healthcare sucks. There are people I know that are slowly dieing because they are no longer covered by the state medical care plan. Elderly people that need meds and are disabled or unable to work are not covered. People on disability are having to pay the majority of their checks for meds if they even get them. I have private insurance through my job so for me..I'm ok..but the others are really fighting to survive with the current plan. Literally. I'm not sure that the new plan will fly but something needs to be done.

You are right, we pay one/third of our income on insurance and I know many cannot do that or even get the insurance we have. But we also have serious health conditions which are expensive. Our quality of life is good because we can pay. We nee to make sure all of us can get medical care.

I'm wondering why all the fighting and yelling is about. I haven't heard what the bill contains so how or why are all these people getting angry about. Do some people know and others don't, I wish I understood. I just find anything concerning Health Care is quite confusing. I wish someone would write from A to Z in lay terms what it all means so I can understand.

Hi, Pat. I've tried to read more than 1,00 pages proposed, but most of it is so caught up in legalese that it's unintelligible. It's not complete yet, so it doesn't make a lot of sense for people to be so heated, especially when special interests on all sides are spreading misinformation. No matter how absurd it is, People accept and act upon it. It's insane how gullible people can be. We really need to wait until there are actually proposals on the table!

As it stands the bill is still pending as a draft, it will look totally different by the time it gets watered down. All the hoopla now is posturing and reactionary for nada! tdemex

Well it makes for good press and it does tend to get more people involved in their government. We suffer from lack of interest is ours unless something like this is being stirred up.

Hi, I have heard both sides.I don't like dealing with medical insurance.I have worked in health care and insurance was my least favorite thing to do.There has been so many misinformation spread. I am waiting to see what the final outcome will be.

I personally think it has gotten ridiculous, both the rumors and the shocking "debates." To find out the truth, here is the "official" site: http://www.whitehouse.gov/ Karen

Sorry, I do not understand what you mean. Are you currently a discussion about health care costs?

Sorry I thought I was clear, but yes it's about health care and how we are going to solve the mess we are in at present.

Okay.. First, we must be prevention rather than treatment. If you find symptoms of pain, immediately treated. Do not wait for severe pain. Use a generic medicine, because it is cheaper than a patent medicine. Sorry, if I misinterpret your topic.
