I have been writing and posting comments on mylot for about 6 weeks now. I would like to share with you some ideals that work for me when it comes to the common bathroom item. It is nothing more than the hair conditioner. Do you have any other suggestions for this product use?Remove your make-up: Put on cloth, wipe face, and then rinse Protect your shoes for winter: Wipe the conditioner on your shoes or boots. This keeps the salt and ice off the shoes Sliding shower curtain: The shower curtain won't slide well. Wipe the shower rod with the conditioner and it will slide easier. Silk Garments: Instead of having them dry clean, soak them in conditioner and water for about 10-15 minutes and then dry as normal.

Hi rosepedal, as hair conditoner is ridiculously expensive in this country I keep it strictly for what it's meant to be used for, my hair. What we do have is a surplus of olive oil and that can be used for many things as well, including as hair conditioner. I'm sure it would work on the shoes and it would definitely work on the shower door as I use it to open latches on window shutters which are stuck down firm.

Thanks for your comment..Olive Oil? I never thought of that, but I can see where this would work for sure. I have found and use several different items for uses other than what they are sold for. Im always looking the cheapest way out on products if I can.

I fry sliced potatoes (skin and all) in olive oil, they taste great and olive oil is supposed to be healthier than regular cooking oil.

angry...Olive oil is differently more healther. I also found out that if u cook with Extra Virgin Oil that is healthy and will add in the process to lose weight. I need to lose weight and I am always looking for a newer way to do so. Just wanted to share this little info with you.

Very interesting, I just don't know about the shower curtain deal. Won't that be kinda messy?

Thanks for your comment! I have used it on my curtain rod. The way that I do this is, take a cloth and pour the hair conditioner on the cloth, Wipe the curtain rod with the hair conditioned cloth along the entire length of the rod. This way it is not a messy deal and gets the entire length. PRESTO! The curtain no longer sticks along the way.
